Milestones

The other day I was informed that my little padawan has gone a step further and was able to turn himself over without the aid of anything or anyone. I was happy and a bit sad at the same time. Happy because our son is growing quite well, and sad because neither me nor Kitchie was there to witness the wonderful event.

That night, Tim turned himself over again, this time, I was right in front of him. After that, he did something else amazing… at his arm’s length lay his pacifier. He literally reached out to take it, and put it in his mouth! Not only are his motor skills improving, but he know what some things are for!

Although Kitchie was still away when this event occured, when she got home, Tim immediately showed his mom what the fuss was all about… turning himself over again, without any help.

And yesterday, I noticed another thing new with Tim… as I was preparing his bottle, I saw him look at it, and he never took his eyes off it. And as I was giving it to him, he reached out, and assisted me in putting it in his mouth! Great stuff.
