Christmas Pageant

Ever since Tim was born, Kitchie and I were thinking of ways on how to introduce him to the world, one small activity at a time. And today was our first as a family… not with relatives or friends, just the three of us in this year’s Credit Union Christmas Pageant.

We were anxious to be on this event because aside from it being hyped on tv, we saw it as a way of getting to know more of the South Australian culture.

At first, little Timothy seemed hesitant to take a look at the colorful floats. But when he noticed that a lot of children, some his age or younger were even interacting with the clowns and other people with the float, he realized it was not something to fear, and he enjoyed the rest of the parade.

After Father Christmas passed us on King William Street, everyone went their own way, but most went for a bite since it was a little past lunch. We enjoyed the rest of the day regardless of the large number of people with us at Rundle Mall, and we’re looking forward to next year’s pageant. Want more photos? Check your inbox for my invitation then head on over to Kodak Gallery.
