Glenelg beach

After long deliberation with Kitchie and the wonderful stories shared between me and colleagues Paul and Marie, my family and I decided to finally go to Glenelg beach today, and not a moment later. The temperature here is finally settling and we’re now getting more and more of the summer heat.
As expected, there were a lot of people with us, as if it didn’t matter to them that it was basically high noon and the sun was beating on their skins. It wasn’t restricted to adults either. Kids were playing around, left and right. We kinda felt bad Tim still couldn’t play with them, but we thought… all in due time.
The scenery was good, and everyone was in a very good mood. The main thing we didn’t like was the infamous persistence of Australia’s African flies. And yes, we too are now personally aware of the “Aussie Wave” (the shooing away of flies).
Although we have only been to Manley beach and now Glenelg, we can’t help but think how so far, nothing seems at par with our own Boracay beach in the Philippines.
