Altec Lansing VS4221

For a long time, Kitchie and I were content in listening to our mp3 collection and hearing the audio on our movies using the laptop speakers or with our iPod earphones… that is now a thing of the past.

We talked it over for some time and contrary to my previous post, we finally decided to get one of the newer models of Altec Lansing, specifically the VS4221.

What got my attention to this particular model is the updated look on a contemporary design. The fact that the package included a wireless remote was a welcome bonus.

The sound is not bad either. I tested it with a variety of songs from my collection and then turning to movies, specifically Final Fantasy VII Advent Children and the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex series. It performed pretty well on all fronts. Its just too bad that I can’t crank it up as much as I want to without the neighbors complaining.
