Disconnections

Since Wednesday I was wondering why most of my tech savvy contacts weren’t going online on their usual hours. I heard about the earthquake in Taiwan last Tuesday, and I even read it on the paper the next morning, but it never really dawned upon me.

It wasn’t only until as of this writing that I realized how it affected most of Asia talk about slow eh? As I went online, only one of my friends actually made a connection to the internet, and he was as surprised as I was.

No matter how advanced our technology gets, we are still at the mercy of mother nature. I hope everyone is alright and that everything will get back to normal soon enough.
