The new year

Today is the first day of 2007, and everyone else here in Australia is probably still asleep. Me? I spend the first hours of the year managing the new issue of Good News Pilipinas.
This is also the year where I will no longer be using the services of Kodak Gallery. Although I will still have my archived photos there, all new stuff will now be posted on Flickr, but will also be available via the Photos page of this blog. This is in response to people’s request of being able to download the full size of photos I gave previously posted. To do so, simply login to Flickr using your Yahoo! account (if you have one that is) or a Flickr account and follow the prompts. But you don’t need to do so if all ou want is take a look.
I have spent several hours configuring FAlbum for WordPress, and I must say that it really is cumbersome to do so. I have yet to completely customize the look and feel of FAlbum here, but at least I go it to look more decent. There is no magic bullet for configuring FAlbum. My best suggestion is to get the basics right then build (or customize from there).
The sun is peeking through my window, and I must now take my leave. I wish everyone a prosperous new year. And for the people of the Philippines, I hope there’s less firecracker-related injuries for this year’s celebrations.
