A day in the park

Ever since we arrived, we have been on a search for a park closest to where we are currently staying. For a while, it seemed that the search would not bear fruit.

About two weeks ago, Paul, a friend and colleague invited us over to our place and decided to pass by a park he was mentioning to me a while back. I was nice… wide open spaces, a very good location for picnics and the like. But it wasn’t for us. It was just out of reach, at least until we get our own car.

Then just this past week, Kitchie decided to take a look at one part of the area that we haven’t explored. Hoping to find a library, and maybe a clinic where Tim can continue his immunization shots. To her (and eventually my) surprise, she found both and then some, with the Town hall and memorial park to boot.

We even had a little picnic there. As expected, when the time came when we were to head back home, little Timothy gave s a bit of a hard time, but he eventually gave in, and happily rode his bike all the way home.
