Dreaming of chocolates

Back home, I was one among many Filipinos who just love chocolate. My personal preference were for plain milk and dark chocolates, but nuts and whatever fruit included is just fine by me… well, except chocolates with coconuts. I don’t know why but I never really liked them.
Being in Australia, one would think… wow… Cadbury! Well, yes and no. In the Philippines where a various brands of chocolates are available, from imported to local stuff, I was into only two major brands… Hershey’s and Cadbury. If you stayed long in Australia, then you probably know what I will be saying next… Oh how I wish I could get my hands on a Hershey’s bar!!!
I haven’t actually seen one in Adelaide, but they sure make ‘em hard to find (if there are any here at all that is). I miss the strong taste of Hershey’s chocolates, from the Hershey’s bar to Kisses (which by the way celebrates its 100th Anniversary this year) and Nuggets.
I’m not saying Australia will not be good for chocolate lovers. There’s heaps of other choices here. But if you’re a fan of Hershey’s, then chances are, you will be out of luck.
I still remember each time I get my hands on a huge Hershey’s bar… ahhh memories. Oh well, I hope anyone who drops by can take the time to bring us some. But for the meantime, its Cadbury and M&Ms for us.
