Internet junkie

I have been hooked ever since being introduced to the Internet by a friend. Being totally fascinated with computers and design didn’t help either. At a certain point, a branched out from chatting to gaming… it doesn’t seem to end.
Starting a web development business is probably one of the best ideas I had, but not so in terms of my addiction to the Web and technology in general. It feeds it more and more. Nowadays, I spend most of my time at my day job, and doing client work at night. I realize that it isn’t healthy for my family and myself but what can I do?
Turns out, there is something I can do. Early yesterday morning, I decided NOT to check my email, NOT to check out new stories on Digg, and NOT to retrieve new Netcasts that I frequently listen to.
With the long commute to work, I had no choice but to listen to music. But at work, where they allow us to listen to music players as long as we get to do our job right… the unthinkable happened. I NEVER turned on my iPod, even though it was just in my pocket! People who know me well enough know for a fact that every chance I get, I listen to my music. It’s kinda weird but I think I am starting to get tired of Technology.
Then I realize… I am blogging.
Duh.
