Break-in

My colleague and cell leader got his house broken into last night. The weird thing was, in a way, he kinda felt beforehand that it was going to happen.
Earlier he told me that someone knocked on his door looking for a certain girl. He lived in his house for a long time and never even had a guest with the same name. That person then went to his neighbor’s home and asked there as well. Doubtful of the person’s intentions, he made arrangements with his neigbor to look over his place while he was at work. He even went to the extent of putting up some signs to deter would-be thieves.
When he got to work, all we talked about was what happened to him before he arrived, and how thieves and other dodgy people in the Philippines strut their stuff. Then came our tea break. He always goes home to eat his meals there.
When I got back, another colleague told me that our fears has indeed happened. Thieves went and kicked open his back door, stealing his Xbox 360, all his games, all his dvds, all his cds and even a pretty good tv set on his bedroom. All of this without disturbing his dog and his neighbor.
A lot of things are questionable, but we only hope everything will turn out ok. Best part of it was that other than stuff being stolen, nothing else really happened.
