Birthday girl

Today, Kitchie celebrated her very first birthday here on Australia. Woke up pretty early to get a head start on the shopping at Rundle Mall. But before we can actually get ready, Rena and Ronin Tiflis gave Kitchie a wonderful surprise visit and even offered to drive us to the city… and a good thing too. When we got there, it was too cold for comfort!

Lunch at Kitchie’s new favorite Oporto, and desert courtesy of the Tiflis family, we had a great time… too bad we forgot to take photos of our small get-together at the city.

We also checked out EB Games for that email I received about being a winner on their previous website contest, but it turns out I need to bring the prize to them first before actually being able to exchange it for anything. I previously thought that the prize would come from them and therefore no need to do anything else.

Afterwards, we headed to Henley Beach Rd. to get some things that Kitchie have long been wanting… a cheesecake and “Tuyo” from the local Asian grocery store.

We only got to take some photos upon getting home… that of Tim giving mom his birthday gift as well as the blowing of candles. I will try to have the photos up sooon… you guys know how my situation is anyway so please bear with me.
