Driving in Australia

I remember telling Kitchie back in the Philippines that I wouldn’t mind going through driving lessons and difficulty in obtaining a license for as long as it would be the same for everybody else. This meant less of the crazy things going on in the road, and more patience.
Me and my big mouth. Coming to Australia and then here in Adelaide, I am faced with the task of going through at least a few lessons so as I could get my SA license. Yes, I passed the first two theoretical exams, but I must admit, I am a bit nervous as to how things might go when there is someone behind me observing my every move, and grading me every step of the way.
But I have no choice. I have procrastinated on getting a driver’s license for almost a year now, and during one of South Australia’s coldest winters, I would be insane to even think about doing so much longer.
It would actually be easier if we already had a car I could practice on… passing the theoretical exams, I was given a certificate that would allow me to drive as if I already had a full license. We found one on the paper the other day but unfortunately someone beat us to it. I have found another one while reading the paper at work, and I am planning to contact the owner tomorrow. Hopefully no one has done so yet.
