A visit to the toy store

I am 100% positive that Tim’s love for singing came from Kitchie… not because I don’t like singing, its just that singing doesn’t like me. Tim is growing up pretty fast. We notice that he starts to use his imagination more often, from playing with his Mega Bloks to setting up the toys he wants to play.

Just yesterday, we finally got the chance to go to Rundle Mall again to do a little bit of R&R. We went to Toys “R” Us to get a present for one of Tim’s friends. We also wanted to get him a little something… it has been a while since he was given a new toy.

As one would expect, we likes to get all the toys… whether it be for boys or girls. I guess to him, gender doesn’t matter. If you can play with it, then he wants it. We went from aisle to aisle thinking of the best toy we could give that fitted our budget.

From Pixar‘s Cars to Spiderman, Sesame Street and Hot Wheels, he couldn’t seem to make up his mind. I could understand becuase back when it was still my turn, I couldn’t either. We took about an hour or so scouring for a toy that Tim likes and we finally chose the talking Elmo doll. And right now, it seems that we made the perfect choice for he is sleeping with Elmo beside him.
