Of lemons and apples

Another hit for Rumour sites as the iPod Hi-Fi has been silently discontinued. Although going directly to the product page still displays all the information regarding it, searching for or trying to purchase one of these overprices stout freakies will only return this page. Apple may or may not attempt to revamp this technology for use with the next generation iPods (will they change it to aluminum?), but one thing’s for sure… with the huge number of third party manufacturers for iPod speakers, Apple’s own certainly won’t be missed.

On the lighter side of things, the excitement for the new iPhone Touch has gotten most of my colleagues at work itching to get themselves one. Nevermind the steep price of A$419 for the 8GB or A$549 for the 16GB… as long as it does what it promises, everyone… including myself won’t be bothered waiting for whoever wins the bidding war for the iPhone next year. Unless of course the iPhone makes it here first, which makes things a little more complicated.

I finally got to complete my long overdue wish list page on the blog, where I put in stuff that I want to have for myself and my family. Although still a work in progress, you can view them here.
