Being smitten by the Apple bug, I find myself having difficulty paying attention to any other computer manufacturer’s efforts to up the ante on the arena.
Don’t get me wrong though, Apple has come up with unsuccessful devices in the past, such as the Newton and just recently the iPod Hi-Fi (or its current state at least). And I do not regard myself as an Apple fan boy or zombie… lusting over anything and everything that the company unveils… its just not my style.
Making an unscheduled visit to one of my weekly visited sites bit-tech, my attention was grabbed by the upcoming gaming machine by Hewlett-Packard, the Blackbird 002 PC. Unlike the much older Dell XPS Gaming desktops that I previously liked, the Blackbird pushes the envelope further in terms of innovation of design. Looks like HP really is becoming the Apple version of PC manufacturers.
For the record, the Blackbird’s design isn’t their first move on making the PC better looking. Just take a look at the HP Virtus.
