The heat is on

It seems summer has arrived in Australia a bit early this year. We noticed it a couple of days ago when temperatures soared to about 35 degrees during the day and dipping all the way back down to 12 degrees at night. Just the other day, the heat got so bad that I felt really dizzy, and not sleep nor any type of cooling down could help me. Kitchie and Tim weren’t spared too. It was only until the next day did we feel a bit better.

Stepping out the door at 6:45am Sunday, everything was different. The sun was already up and even though there was a breeze, I couldn’t feel anything but heat. Later in the day, as I was waiting for Kitchie do our grocery list, I saw for the first time (inside the shopping centre), a woman wearing a swimsuit for a top. I guess its not just us who is feeling pretty warm.
