Using the iPod Touch

Another one of my recent acquisitions, I have been enjoying my tunes on the iPod Touch for quite some time now, and the experience is nothing short of spectacular. Until now, flicking through album covers and photos gets me everytime.

The Touch also tends to be a magnet for strangers… people asking about how it looks and feels, plus the ever popular demo for photos and video. Friends and co-workers still tend to approach me every so often so that they can get a feel of it.

The main drawback at this point for me is basically the same as what other people are complaining about… and that is, the amount of storage and the lack of support for third-party applications and services. Unfortunately, I am one of the faint-hearted, too scared to try out “other options.” And the fact that I am too lazy to revert back to version 1.1.1 is not helping either.

Hopefully everything will turn out fine once developers get a hold of the SDK for the iPhone and iPod Touch, then that will start a whole new revolution.

But as of now, I am content with listening to the music and playing a bit of video to kill some time.
