Keeping busy

Ever since Kitchie and Tim left, the house has never been as lonely. On the first day, I thought I could alleviate some of this loneliness by keeping myself busy… having my day job did help a bit, it took off about 8 hours of having to think about being by my lonesome. Of course, I can’t help but still be reminded of it every once in a while, but I feel a bit of weight has been taken off my chest.
I get to talk to them over the phone daily as well… actually, I try to call a couple of times before I head to work to lessen what I feel even more.
On a different note, I discovered a very huge error on my part. After upgrading to OS X Leopard and having to do some graphics for Good News Pilipinas, I noticed that basically all my Photoshop files are gone! I searched all my discs and external drives, but it seems that I have neglected to backup my important psd files… sigh. There goes my design for the new stabiimentum website. I guess I will have to do it all over again.
Its not that I am bad at backing up. I myself was a Windows user before (and still am – for gaming), and being one, you know that you should always back up your stuff. But migrating to the new system and then upgrading it made my filing system a bit too difficult to handle. From now on, I will be storing all my data in a more logical manner, and of course, I will take this opportunity to finally use Time Machine.
