Sabrina’s lamp

Our trip to Sydney not only gave as a much needed respite from the lonely times we have in Adelaide but also allowed us to see what things we can do to improve ourselves and our little Padawan Timothy.

On our part, we started making the house more comfortable to stay in… my office no longer looks like a jungle but an actual home office. Kitchie has her own spot where she can do some reading and just relax. But what struck me the most was how the trip affected Tim.

In the two weeks he was there, he has learned a lot of new words and sentences just by hanging around Kitchie’s cousins and aunts. Before, Tim’s conversations were mostly taken from tv shows and dvds, and Filipino words from us.

The best part is that ever since, Timothy has been sleeping early, thanks to the Winnie the Pooh revolving lamp that his aunt Sabrina gave him. Now, as early as 7pm, he asks to be brought to the room to watch his lamp and sleep. Again, many thanks to the Natividad family for everything.
