Poor Timothy

Our little Tim got a taste of pain today. According to him, he was playing while watching television when he managed so scratch his knee on one of our tables. The size of about half of a pea, his wound wasn’t really a deep cut, but some skin was rubbed off.

When Kitchie was cleaning his wound, he was sitting patiently, not making a sound. But when we were talking about covering it up with a band-aid, he cried loudly, even after I left for work.

Getting home, I was surprised that he was so careful with his knee that he barely even wants to be his usual playful self. When I asked if we could finally take out the band-aid, he started crying again. As I was carrying him to the sofa, I promised I wouldn’t take it off. But as I sat him down, we were both surprised to see that it was gone.

It was funny how he couldn’t understand both where the band-aid went, as well as what happened to his wound. It was pretty much gone, and most probably the pain too.

Our little Padawan is alright now, talkative and playful as always. We took a photo of how he was earlier to remind him to be more careful next time.
