Starting anew…

I must admit, ever since we moved to Australia, I have been a bit lazy in terms of learning new things that I can apply for web development. I have been blogging for about 4 years now, and I have yet to make my own theme for The Telecommuter.
But all that will be put to rest pretty soon. Over the weekend, I finally got off my lazy bum to read up on WordPress and PHP. There is still a lot of things to learn, but I think I got the basics down… enough to have a working knowledge on making my own WordPress stuff from now on.
I will be applying what I learned to a number of websites that I handle as well, particularly Good News Pilipinas. I have been procrastinating about doing this for a very long time, and breaking 2 years for GNP, I think its about time to do something about it. Hopefully, the stuff that I have already learned will make the transition easier for me.
