The last long weekend

Watching television

Anzac Day is the most important national occasion for Australians, and it is also the last long weekend until the Christmas season. A lot of people will be attending the commemoration, and migrants such as my family and I will be satisfied watching the events as they unfold, on the tube.

So what else will we be doing then? Well, for me, once I am done with the WordPress version of Good News Pilipinas, I also have the redesign of The Telecommuter in the works, and hopefully get to finish both in the three days I have free. Kitchie on the other hand starts her classes in the Women’s and Children’s hospital this Saturday, while Timothy and I do some father and son bonding while she is away.

We are also probably either going to the nearby park or maybe a walk in the nearby reserve, to enjoy the sights. But what we are anticipating is getting to all the movies that we have so far, sit together on the couch and just watch. Why is this such a big thing? Well, I spend way too much time at work and in front of the computer (for more work), that its about time I spend the long weekend with my family. I can’t wait for Friday!

Update
I was mistaen to think that this was the last long weekend for Christmas… I forgot about the Queen’s birthday.
