Timothy’s sleeping habits

Tim sleeping

As children, we all had our peculiar ways and habits when it comes to sleeping. Back when I was a child, I was told that I usually sleep tossing and turning, but not because I was uneasy, but probably because I felt more comfortable that way.

Now, its little Timothy’s turn, and he is no different from other children his age. Once in a while, he tosses and turns, just as his dad did. He occupies half (or more) of our queen size bed, leaving Kitchie and I barely enough room for ourselves. We know its just normal, but it amuses us just the same.

Tim is a very light sleeper… which he got from his mom. He likes to have someone sleep beside him all the time… and to ensure this, he usually has his leg or arm (or both) on top of whoever is beside him. Move just a little and he wakes up, checking to see if we’re still there. It is only until he is in his deep sleep that we can actually move freely, careful not to make too much noise when we move around.

He sometimes talks in his sleep too, just like me. But the most peculiar thing we noticed is he would sit up, talk to us in complete sentences, then go right back to sleep, as if nothing happened. Kitchie and I just smile each and every time this occurs.
