Pringles-loving generations

During our childhood, our mom made sure that my brother and I were exposed to different kinds of things, from food to culture, language and media, she made it a point that we should at least know a little bit of everything, or more if we could help it, so as not to make fools of ourselves when we’re older.
This particular entry is about being exposed to Pringles… you know, the “Once you pop, you can’t stop” Pringles.
Anyway, the moment I tried Sour Cream & Onion, I was totally hooked! We tried some other flavors, and they were pretty good too… but nothing compared to the green canister. Kitchie loves Pringles as well. Back when we were still in the Philippines, we would go get ourselves one and just enjoy eating them while watching tv or movies.
So if both mom and dad (and their respective families) like a particular food, then what are the chances that the offspring will like the same thing? It may go the opposite way of course, but this isn’t so with little Timothy. Once in a while we get a can or two, and Timothy would just go gaga over them. Dancing around, jumping up and down… you know that he definitely likes them.
As I was about to do some online work, Kitchie prepped a meal for me, and was bringing a canister of Pringles as well. Timothy immediately saw what she was carrying and immediately made a fuss about it. You see, he loves Pringles so much that he doesn’t want us to eat them! I know how he feels too. When I was his age, I was probably thinking the same thing… there will be a lot less going around if more and more people eat it.
Don’t think badly of little Tim though. Despite him saying such things, as soon as you ask for some, he will surely hand you some. And in most cases, even feed it to you.
