As previously mentioned, the iPhone will finally be available in Australia this year, and if we were to base it on this article, hopefully be in the land down under by June. And the fact remains that Vodafone will be selling the iPhone, but apparently both Telstra and Optus will be able to get in on the action too.
Pardon me for the language but, WTF are you thinking Apple? Telstra? You guys have to be kidding! They aren’t really taking care of their customers, so why tarnish your company’s reputation by getting in bed with another that just totally ignores customer relations? I know business is business, but at the end of the day, NO CUSTOMER, NO BUSINESS!
There are a number of resellers here in South Australia, and the online Apple store is pretty good as well. So if no one really likes any of the companies selling the iPhone, then they can just purchase it online. For myself? Well, if and when I do decide to get one of these babies, it could be from either Vodafone or Optus, or most probably unlocked through the Apple store.
