Happy Mother’s Day!

What do you do when a company regardless of size, gives you wonderful service and a memorable experience to others involved? Why, rave about it of course!
I must admit that my busy schedule coupled with my forgetfulness almost made me miss a wonderful opportunity to make our moms happy on their day of all days. It was about 2 weeks ago when I started planning what to do, and I was only able to actually do something about it 2 days before Mother’s Day!
The company Island Rose really did a great job with my orders, but also took care of me when I made a certain little typo, which I will no longer explain in detail to avoid getting into trouble hehe.
The bouquets got to their destinations pristine and on time. I have yet to see photos of how my mom’s roses turned out (I am going only by what she said), but we were able to get a view of the flowers sent to Kitchie’s mom, and it did pretty much look like what we saw on the Website.
Before this, Kitchie and I only got to make use of online services twice… both of which the experience was pretty good. Chuck this one to the happy pile, since everything went smoothly and as they promised. I tell you one thing, if there is ever a need for me to send flowers again, I know exactly where to go.
As for Kitchie, Tim and I took her to do a little bit of shopping at IKEA after coming from church. It was the first time we actually enjoyed having a meal there… and walking around the showroom was great too.
To all the mothers and would-be mothers out there… HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
