Timothy

It has been a while since I posted anything about Timothy’s development as a little boy. And although the list is getting longer and longer, I will try to summarize them real quick.

Food

  • As previously mentioned, Tim has grown to love Pringles.
  • He will basically eat anything, but once in a while, like a normal kid, he doesn’t want to touch his greens. Good thig he didn’t take from his old man though, for after a while of persuading, he does manage to finish them.
  • He just started to discover the land of Gelatin.
  • Except for Apple juice which somewhat makes him feel a little bit on the throwing up side, he just guzzles the up especially grape juice.
  • Tim (so far) does not like spicy food, and anything with vinegar on it.

Everyday stuff

  • Starts the day with “Good morning” plus hugs and kisses.
  • Tim loves helping out mom and dad.
  • He has been more active than ever, jumping around like Tigger most of the time.
  • He knows when to ask permission
  • He regularly asks or initiates hugging and kissing
  • If Kitchie or I were down or not feeling well, he’ll say “Its ok mommy / daddy, andito ako”
  • Knows how to answer the phone and how to carry conversations in and out of the telephone.
  • Ends the day with a prayer and more terms of endearment for us his parents

Fun and games

  • He regularly sings along with the music that we play or advertisements on the television.
  • Has started building things based on his imagination, and giving them to us as “presents”.
  • Likes to play hide-and-seek, and a little bit of Buzz Lightyear laser tagging.
  • Often reads books to us before bedtime.
  • Calls dad “buddy” and puts his arm across my shoulder (akbay).
  • Just loves the outdoors especially the trees and mountains.

We will be visiting a local kindergarten tomorrow to see if we can have him start a little bit of schooling (we were told it was about 3 hours per week). If everything goes to plan, then we will enroll little Timothy by next week. This will give him the chance to learn while being with other kids.
