More on scheduling

There have been several instances where I have several ideas as to what I can write about in this journal, from recent events to just plain old rants and raves. But when I sit in front of the computer, I almost always forget most of them… until recently.
I have thought of a system for me to use, where I just note down the topics I would like to write about, and then do some drafts and eventually post them, but using the scheduling function of WordPress. I have written about it before, but it was only until this week where I actually got to make better use of it. You see, since Monday and the whole of this week, all posts were done in advance.
Scheduled publishing has already been used in Good News Pilipinas, where articles have been provided earlier, and no longer do I need to actually sit down and do them on the day they are required.
Aside from the fairly obvious benefits, for my blog, this is even more beneficial in days where I am just too tired to actually do some posting… as long as there are entries scheduled of course. This is why I am planning to somehow fatten up my journal entries buffer.
If and when something does come up that deserves special attention, then all I have to do is re-schedule the previous one to accommodate it.
With my plans to help family and friends with how to use their computers, I will be doing some how-to sections once my blog redesign is completed (this weekend, I promise). It will start off with some basic stuff, just to get everyone used to how their system works.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on what else to feature here, then please feel free to drop me a comment.
