It's finally here!

After a bit of procrastination, a change in layout and adding some more features, my very first WordPress theme is finally complete, and I christen it “Shades”.

It took me way longer than expected. What with everything else going on, me getting sick and an emergence dental appointment, I just couldn’t find the strength and motivation to complete it. Then I decided to do just a little bit each day as I come home from work. I was pretty much surprised to see today and aside from a little tweaking on some images and on the stylesheet, everything was set.

Unfortunately, I have yet to figure out how to put back the photo album, so I took out the page for now. Hopefully I will be able to sort the kinks out soon.

There are probably some more things I need to adjust, such as cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, but in order for me to do so, I needed this to be online… that way, family and friends (if they so wish) can be able to comment on the overall look and usability of the new design.
