It was like having my very own time machine. Going way back when we were still in college, everyone was so much thinner, and the clothes… well, you decide. No, this isn’t about some dream or getting high on some prohibit drug, it’s about my experience in archiving all our photos on Flickr.
These past couple of days, when I don’t have anything better to do both online and off, I go about the tedious but fun and very entertaining task of uploading our pictures… no sarcasm there. I am really having fun doing so. It lets me see how much everyone’s changed, both physically and the current state of living each one of us has. I keep thinking to myself, if I could only speak to myself while that certain photo was being taken, what would I have said?
Currently, I’ve got about 2,288 photos already online, but all of which only reach until 2006, before we set foot here in Australia. Time and bandwidth constraints are the reasons why I can’t really do any better. I am trying really hard though, averaging about 4-6 sets everyday just to make sure that any new photos taken will not offset the ones already online.
Although I have yet to integrate the albums on this blog (I am leaning towards privacy vs accessibility), family and friends can view what’s there so far. Just login to Flickr using your Yahoo! account, and search for me using my nickname + surname. And while you’re at it, why not leave a friendly message? I always want to hear from you guys!
