Only a little over a month left, and we would be staying here in Adelaide for 2 years… this means we can finally file for permanent residency… but not before we face some other changes in our lives.
Kitchie will have another job interview later today. We are all excited and a bit nervous as well. She has applied in several positions, but only a handful of the companies she applied for were decent enough to reply. I never thought that there would even be people like those (who didn’t reply) in a country like Australia. Well, I guess there’s some everywhere.
I too will embark on a similar journey midway through the week, but I will not go into detail until everything’s done. Hopefully Kitchie and I will be able to grow in terms of our careers.
As with my plans for web development, although I haven’t officially acquired a local client, a couple of people have been lending a hand in terms of experience… but currently, both are still on the drawing board. Hopefully they will materialize sooner than later.
And what of Timothy? Well, apparently he still needs to enjoy his childhood and not go to school yet. They say a child at 4 years can start formal schooling. But at Timothy’s age, he can go to playgroup or day care, which is somewhat a preparation for school anyway. Not that we’re rushing him, we actually like the idea of him just being a kid. We just wanted to make sure that we’re not hindering in his development.
So if everything goes well, Kitchie and I get to what we want to be, then we will definitely need (and be able to) send little Timothy to one of the places here which we have been eying for quite some time now.
