How an ad worked for me

Spawn

Long before fate dealt me a hand of cards that made most of my time anything other than my own, I was once an avid movie viewer. However, I did not watch every movie that came along my way. I had a number of favorites that I never grew tired of watching.

After a while, I was able to purchase some of my top favorites… from the Lord of the Rings trilogy to the entire Star Wars series, it was just a joy to know at anytime that I felt watching any of them, I actually could.

Then there was this ad on the internet about JB-HiFi having a sale on DVDs. I had a look at their extensive list and my eyes opened up upon seeing that they actually have Final Fantasy VIII Advent Children at a low price. Kitchie was after a couple of titles as well so we took advantage of their “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” promo.

Prior to that, I also saw an ad on the paper showing the Spawn movie on special. I totally forgot about this film, but made it a point to visit Big W to get one for myself.

I am no sucker for the specials though. I only purchase the movies that I can watch over and over… so think of it more of as a collection than just plain old movie watching. After all, if you can’t enjoy watching a film you’ve already seen before, then it isn’t really any good is it?
