WordCamp Philippines 2008

I was just reading on how Matt Mullenweg, creator of WordPress is in the Philippines for the WordCamp Philippines 2008 event that was slated in Davao on September 4 and in Manila on the 6th.
I remember reading about it back when they were still deciding on where the venue would be. Back then I was thinking on how much I would really want to be in Manila during those dates. Not only have I been using WordPress for a while, but I thought that since Good News Pilipinas was also using this wonderful platform, it would have been a great opportunity to meet other WordPress users and to be able to share thoughts and ideas with them.
Oh well, I hope Matt enjoys his stay in the Philippines, and that fellow Filipino bloggers who will be attending the event get the most out of it.
