A wonderful surprise

I got home to a very nice surprise today, Kitchie and Timothy had a surprise letter and gift for a pre-birthday celebration. Top it all off, they made Toblerone cheesecake which was equally as sweet as they were!

The coming weekend feels like it’s all just for me, turning 33 tomorrow then celebrating Father’s day on Sunday. And with my brother coming to stay with us for a couple of weeks, I didn’t think it would get any better. Then Kitchie being her normal thoughtful self surprised me with this wonderful family event.

For the curious, the cheesecake was just heavenly. I honestly thought you couldn’t make stuff this good at home… but boy was I wrong. Kitchie topped it off with even more shaved Toblerone and some Mars bars, making it look like it was bought from some high end shop. This will be an addition to her ever expanding array of culinary treats that we will enjoy.

To Kitchie and little Timothy, thank you so much for the gifts, the kind words, plus the love and support you have given me through the years. I love you both so much.
