Back to normal

Its been a hectic but fun two weeks as Jon spent some of his time with us. Nothing lasts forever, and as much as we all wanted to spend more time together, he had to fly off to Sydney today.

Timothy wanted to go with his uncle Jon, as we said our goodbyes in the airport. He just wouldn’t leave his beloved uncle. Long after we were out on the road, Timothy would still cry a bit and talk about how much he would like to go too. Eventually he calmed down… we told him of plans on going back to the Philippines soon, and it was pretty obvious that he is anticipating that day when we do.

Back to being just the 3 of us isn’t bad, but having family over just makes us realize how much different life is here without them. Kitchie said that everything would be different if they were just around the corner… or at least interstate.

Thanks again Jon (and mom too) for giving us all the “pasalubongs” and other things. Here’s looking forward to seeing you guys next year.
