A lot of things has been going on lately that I don’t really have the time to blog about anything despite an abundance of topics that I like to write about. So I’ll try to be as brief and concise as I can.
Spring cleaning
Yes, its finally spring here in Australia, and we spent the previous Labor Day long weekend to do some gardening and cleanup. We even got to wash the car properly after like a month or so of procrastination.
With Jon back in the Philippines, I also moved back to my office. Its good to be able to do some programming with msuic pumping in the background without bothering the rest of the family as they sleep.
The family
Timothy is growing up to be a normal active boy. He has started taking in the Australian accent which he hears from television and the DVDs he gets to watch. He has yet to start school, but will be doing so by next week. And by then, he will surely be learning a whole lot more and at a really fast pace. He will most probably end up teaching us a thing or two.
After watching Iron Man, his tastes in heroes suddenly changed. He still considers his previous heroes like Spiderman Batman and the like, but it looks like he will be into the iron-clad character for a while.
Kitchie has been doing some milestones of her own, from making her own Mars bar cheesecake, great tasting pasta and steak that is actually WAY better than what we tried at the local Hog’s Breath Cafe. Ever the homebody, she almost always not think of herself. Thankfully she’s doing a few things for her own development. Good luck with that hon! Tim and I support you all the way.
Web stuff
With Rico’s go signal, Good News Pilipinas‘ redesign is full steam ahead. Apart from just the look, I am actually planning on having some nifty new features that will allow users to appreciate not only the site but all the good things about the Philippines a little more.
It is still under the Photoshop mockup stage, but so far I have been getting pretty good responses. Unfortunately, I will be unable to display what it will look like for two reasons: first, since it is still in the drawing board, some or all of the parts of the site may change. Second, its not surprise if you get to see what is under wraps way before it is to be unveiled. Hopefully, everyone will get to like it.
Other things
We have filed for permanent residency last month and are hoping that everything is to our favor once the good folks at immigration make their decision. Here’s hoping that we get the good word sooner rather than later.
Well, that’s it for now. I still have a lot of things I wish to share… if only I had the same amount of time in doing so.

WOW MARS BAR CHEESECAKE… ATE KITCHIE HAS GOT TO MAKE SOME OF THAT WHEN U GUYS VISIT AGAIN (OR IF WE VISIT THERE!)
AWESOME.
