Iron Man

Gone are the days of Spiderman and Batman, for our son has a new superhero. Get ready for the antics as Timothy dons his helmet and gauntlet… he is Iron Man.

Since watching the Iron Man movie on DVD, our son has barely watched any of his other movies. Although it is still quite obvious through the photo above that he still loves Pixar movies, it seems that his taste for toys and costumes has just gone a level higher.

Now, with his new gadgets at hand, when we go play the movie, he wears the costume as he watches. Once in a while standing and mimicking as the hero on the movie raises his hands to do away with the enemies with his repulsor blasts.

He isn’t caught up with the illusion though. For he gets tired of wearing the things pretty quick and just sets it aside, or he lets either Kitchie or myself do the wearing for a while as he rests his face and arms.

We went to the mall earlier and as would any normal kid, he brought his new toys with him. As both young and old alike pass by us, they give us a smile, point to Timothy and say “Look, it’s Iron Man!”. And I am pretty sure that Timothy is liking every bit of attention he gets from his being the iron clad hero.
