Its school time!

Our little Iron Man officially starts school today as certain events moved up his schedule from Friday to today. He literally leapt out of bed as soon as he heard that he was going to school.

It was definitely a bittersweet moment for Kitchie and I as we brought him to school for the very first time, but this was inevitable, and vital to Timothy’s development.

Just like when we got to see the place a few of weeks back, Timothy wanted to start straight away. As soon as he put his bags down, he went on to do his bit. Not even thinking twice about leaving us. I guess he knew that he only had two hours so he had better get going.

Aside from being able to play and paint, Tim told us that their teacher told them a story about a cloud. I’m sure his stories of what has happened in school will only lengthen as he spends more time there.

We had a talk with one of the teachers as well as the school director afterward, and according to them, our little school boy was “very friendly, active and confident”. As we watched him interact with the other children a few minutes before we had to go, it was quite evident that this was the best time to have him start school. The bigger kids seem to accommodate him quite well too!
