2008 Christmas Pageant

The first time we set foot on Adelaide, there was just a whole lot of things to do and places to visit. And one of the events we were able to go to was the 2006 Credit Union Christmas Pageant. Fast forward a couple of years, and we are back waiting for Santa’s arrival on his wonderful sleigh float.
Despite the slight showers, it didn’t look like anyone left their positions. Australians do seem to like a little bit of rain. Everyone was somewhat prepared for it anyway, bringing with them umbrellas, jackets and raincoats. For us, good thing Kitchie brought a portable green umbrella which we used every time it showered. Little Timothy also had his favorite Buzz Lightyear raincoat on just to be sure he doesn’t catch a cold.
Having a better position than we did the first time, Timothy had a good look at all the floats and performers on the parade. We were atop a small hill on one of the corners where the floats passed. The little padawan seemed to appreciate it more now too. Being able to recognize several of the float themes and characters.
It was definitely a good thing we went. Maybe next time we can have family come and enjoy the pageant with us.
