Another party for Tim

Timothy has again been able to meet new friends as he attended a birthday party for Mikaela. Aside from starting play group, its also a chance for us to see how well he interacts with kids within his age group. So far, Tim seems to be doing pretty good.
In terms of playing with others, he has learned to share whatever toy or food he has with the other children. Taking turns in both driving a toy car and pushing it, as well as making sure that while he eats some m&ms, to offer the same to the others.
He has better understanding of party games as well. A game of Pinata showed us that not only does he know what to do, he is actually pretty good at it. Hitting the Pinata 3 times (the given limit for each kid). Of course, he has yet to gain the strength to break it, but he’s getting there.
Its with the doughnut game that he seems a little hesitant. He loves them, in fact, he actually had a couple before we went to the party. We thought at first he didn’t know that he had to finish it off without touching either the doughnut or the string tied to it. A little investigation has shown that he only wants to eat doughnuts the normal way… with his two hands.
Thanks again to the Aloisi family for having us over.
