Apple Store Philippines

Apple finally reaches the Philippine shores without the use of third-party resellers as it officially launches the Apple Online Store. With the release of the iPhone in the Philippines last August, it seems that Apple is definitely set to conquer new territory with the move.

Aside from the difference in currency rates, there is basically nothing new with the new wing of the store. But patrons will love the fact that at least for a short period of time, they can get limited edition shirts with every purchase of a Mac or iPod online.

A huge majority of the computer users in the Philippines are Windows-based, but more and more we see a growth of followers in the Mac sector. And despite the economic crisis, I am sure that people who have been clamoring for better access to Apple products will definitely get their feet wet soon enough.

Of course you will still need a credit card to purchase from the store. While this may set back Apple’s foothold in the market, It will definitely do for now.
