Google’s Mail team has been pretty busy, churning out video chat from within mail’s chat. Now, no longer do we have to stare at the basic GMail look or use third-party plugins. Enter Google’s Themes!
A total of 31 themes grace the refreshed GMail interface, from basic color changes to ones that make use of images to enhance its look. You will surely find one that you will like… if not, you can still use plugins for Firefox such as Stylish.
This is the first iteration of Google changing the look of its web application and may indicate the GMail is nearing maturity, and might finally come out of the BETA closet soon. We’re hoping that this is just a sign of things to come. Maybe they will allow third-party designers to do some of the theme work.
Among the themes with images on them, Kitchie likes Ninja and Tea House. My personal favorites: Ninja, Planets and Graffiti. What’s yours?
