Christmas ’08

As with any child during the season, Timothy woke up with one thing on his mind. Did Santa remember to give our good little boy some presents? As we left the bedroom, he saw that there were new presents under the tree, and that his Christmas stocking was overflowing. our little boy was just ecstatic!

Showing how appreciative he was with every present he got, he made sure that he got to play with each and every one of them. Unfortunately though, his clumsy old man managed to step on his brand new water gun and broke it to pieces. But with the amount of gits he got, it doesn’t seem like he minds. I am still thinking about replacing though… I can’t stand feeling guilty.

As Kitchie was busy preparing Christmas lunch, I gave her a helping hand by being in charge of the grill. I have yet to taste what I’ve made, but she did say it was pretty good. Plus, Timothy didn’t seem to be objecting either, having about two helpings of barbecue and rice.

We got to speak briefly with family in the Philippines, and it seems that everything is alright on their side of the world. We can’t wait to be able to speak to them more (and hopefully a little bit longer) over Skype when time permits.

And finally, we had more shrimp and lobster for dinner topped off with some ice cream for dessert. The food here is really good. Now all we need to add are family and friends, and it would certainly be a Christmas to beat any other.
