A tale of three fantasies

Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII are definitely some of the most highly-anticipated games coming out for the Playstation 3. I myself have long been keeping an eye out for the slightest news of its impending release.

This post however, is not about the 3 games coming out (unfortunately), but rather the official unveiling of their individual Websites.

The site for Final Fantasy XIII has some information about the 3 main characters, screenshots and a sample of the official soundtrack playing in the background.

The one for Final Fantasy Versus XIII however is simply a splash screen with the main character brandishing his “gunblade?”, and some information about the console it will be released on which of course will be the Playstation 3.

As with Versus, Final Fantasy Agito XIII is basically a flash page containing an image of the main characters of the game as well as some information in Japanese that I unfortunately cannot understand. Nonetheless, it is still a welcome addition to the Final Fantasy series no matter what platform its for.

Its great to be able to see content coming from the actual game company. Having seen screenshots from gaming sites such as FinalFantasyXIII.net has tided me over for quite some time now.

I will still check out the various sites I have on my bookmarks in terms of these games and more, but this is as official as it gets. Finally, the gears are churnin’.
