The countdown has come to an end, and despite a certain leak from the Japanese Final Fantasy XIII website, fans around the globe are finally able to preview the latest in teasing from Square Enix.
In what apparently is a first of many countdowns, this one entails the release of Final Fantasy XIII’s latest teaser video, showing a lot of new FMVs and gameplay footage. Yes, that’s right, we finally get to see more of how this highly-anticipated RPG for the Playstation 3 actually looks like IF and WHEN (in a not-so-sarcastic tone) we get our grubby little hands on it.
Just as you can expect from virtually any Final Fantasy title, the full motion sequences are just spectacular. I must admit that I am somewhat biased because I have been a fan of the series ever since I got hold of Final Fantasy VII. So, despite the fact that a lot of people are clamoring for something other than turn-based RPGs, I definitely love it, and hope that with this upcoming title that I will not be totally alienated.
So, whats next? You can go view the latest video or check out a few more screenshots of the video on my Photostream. I apologize for the quality. Flash video isn’t so great to begin with, plus I had to do a bit of resizing.
Update:
Finally got my hands on a high resolution version. Check out the bigger and better photos here.
