Ping! Pong!

If it were possible, cobwebs would have formed with the lack of attention this blog has been getting, but rest assured that everything is just great and that once things have died down a bit, I will be able to get back on the blogging horse.
The heat wave
And we thought last year was bad. Adelaide had two weeks of the mercury hitting well above 40° C. Except for the living room, everywhere else here at home was just scorching. This is the main reason why I haven’t been blogging since.
I am pretty sure that everyone’s electricity have skyrocketed, and that our heart rates will increase more once we get it.
Australia day was pretty hot as well. So, we finally decided to hit the pools of the Adelaide Aquatic Centre. Timothy had a great time, and is always wondering when we will be paying another visit to the place.
The weather now is good, so everything is back to normal.
Back to school
Timothy is back in school, this time spending 4 days a week there. Each time we come to pick him up, he demonstrates more and more all the things he has learned, and stuff that he has figured out on his own.
Except during extreme conditions, Kitchie likes to walk Tim to school. They get to enjoy the scenery as they walk with other kids and their parents. They get a bit of exercise out of it too!
A great gift
2 days before Valentines day, we were given the best gift we have received to date… our permanent residency! Finally, we can go to bed without uncertainties in our hearts. We can leave and return to Australia as much as we want, until our Visa expires… then we can apply for a new one or better yet, in about a year’s time, we can apply for citizenship.
So that’s about it. As usual, new photos on my Flickr account for you guys to look over.
