Trying out Safari 4 beta, I have grown accustomed to seeing the Apple start page. So it was a wonderful surprise to be greeted with the release of their latest 3 “green” desktop computers.

The deigns for all three are pretty much the same, but the innards are definitely more powerful, environment friendly and best of all, cheaper… the new hardware will definitely be a hit. I guess the rumor mills were right again… a new iMac, Mac mini and surprise, a new Mac Pro

The new dual-band Airport Extreme Base Station and Time Capsule complete the new releases for today. I must admit, the release of new hardware via the Internet is no comparison to the huge events Apple fanatics are used to. Then again, we are having a global crisis…

As of this writing, the Australian Apple website has yet to display the details on the new hardware. So for now, I guess the US Apple site will have to do.
