Easter 2009

In what comes rarer than a blue moon, this Easter long weekend, I have been able to keep away from both online and offline computer activities… something I think is just a big improvement for me. Lounging around, watching movies and playing some games with Kitchie and Timothy… these things have shown me how my time can be better made use of.
Timothy was finally able to join Adelaide’s Biggest Easter Egg Hunt, and boy did he have a great time! Before he even got to participate in the egg hunt, he had an opportunity to have his photo taken with Shrek and Fiona.
The little padawan got a chance to sit in the driver’s seat of one of South Australia’s big red machines… a full-fledged fire engine!
And before we left, guess who graced the event? No other than Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story… which is one of Timothy’s favorite movies. He was a bit shy at first, but after the photo, he was able to exchange high fives with Buzz.
Tomorrow, we start our lives as a family with a normal schedule. It will be a bit difficult for each and every one of us but, the most important thing is that we will get to see each other more. Something which had been badly neglected with my previous non family friendly work schedule.
