How it is so far…

Time seems to go quicker now that both Kitchie and I are at work. Although I feel as if we don’t get to spend enough time together, we in fact get to see more of each other compared to before.

Today was just my second day with the new schedule, but I have been reflecting much about it. Having been able to sit down and have dinner with my family is something that I haven’t really been experiencing much, save for Fridays and the weekends.

Little Timothy seems to be coping well, although when I left him today, I saw in his eyes and heard in his voice that he longs for the attention that Kitchie and I have been giving him before the change. I felt really sad, and remembered when I was in a similar situation, during my first day in school. I felt somewhat sad and lonely. So I can only imagine how Tim feels especially since other than Kitchie and myself, we really don’t have anyone else over here.

All of this however is necessary for the improvement of the entire family. We will just have to make sure that we make the time we have together all the more important.

The current situation that we are in will be difficult for sure, but as they say, this too shall pass.
