Today we celebrate our 3 years in Australia. Yes, it has been that long already. And although it hasn’t actually been that long, for us, the absence of family and friends makes it feel twice as long.

I’ve reread a post I made back then, and so far, knowing what we already know, and having gone through the stuff that we went through, I must say that everything has turned out for the better.

Timothy has grown to be a very intelligent and loving boy who never fails to tell Kitchie and I how much he loves us… a few times every hour.

Kitchie seems to be adjusting to her work pretty well. And despite the fact that we get to see less of each other every week, we do everything we can to make up for it. Tim sometimes tries to wait for Kitchie to get home, saying that he misses her a lot. And that makes it a bit more difficult… but we still try our best.

As for me, everything is pretty much the same. I try to rekindle my long lost love for photography, and I have also recently discovered that I like video editing and the like. Other than that, I still am a bit of a hermit.

It will probably still be a while before we can visit the Philippines. Thank heavens for Skype… we get to talk to family and lessen the loneliness a little bit.
